BULLSHITTING is a writing technique in which the user bases an entire piece of writing, often an essay or a speech, around a single and often small, irrelevant and/or useless piece of information. Here are some wonderful examples:

Skilled Bullshitting is when someone writes a full 340 page book from pure imagination yet makes it look as if they know what they are talking about and are answering a profoundly important question.

Super Skilled Bullshitting is outright lying, inventing information and defending its veracity to the end of days.

Political Bullshitting is suspending a grip of reality to obey a prescribed narrative.

Geopolitical Bullshitting is spinning a tale so huge that people will never be able to prove that it is a lie.

Spiritual Bullshitting is claiming that you know the truth, always speak the truth and will pray for those who know a different truth.

Tell them that a hero is going to save the world and they will rest assured, safe in their unrelenting apathy. Even when death knocks at their door they will smile and welcome him in. They have become docile and indifferent. Entirely malleable.

That is why bullshit is a weapon of mass destruction.
