The great silencing began, for me at least, in 2017 when Facebook began to shadow ban my posts. Then they started to ban me for ever increasing periods over posts written as far back as 2013. I left them to it, only writing there very occasionally.
I began to write on Steemit and later Hive blog which are both on the blockchain and my work could not be removed.
I went to Twitter and built a sizeable following there until 2020 when they too began to shadow ban my tweets.
I opened an account on Discord and began to build a community there.
On Christmas Eve 2020 all three of these social media platforms simultaneously deleted my accounts without warning. Around the same time Hive blog was infiltrated by accounts which were dedicating themselves to down-voting any dissident voices.
On January 5th 2021 I was recommended to open an account on Substack and I have had no problems at all from censorship here. It feels like the last internet space which defends against cancel culture and for that, I am very keen to defend it in return.
Silencing dissent seems to be extremely important to the WEF/UN unelected globalist totalitarians.
We can identify their reasons easily from a motto that they love to reiterate:
"So this is how you do it. Make, or marry, BILLIONS with some business, like financial information or technology, that uses copious amounts of what you want to get rid of. Then buy a media outlet like the Washington Post or the Atlantic to preach the gospel of your religion. Give a pile of money to activist groups who spend a lot of time quoting EACH OTHER to substantiate their claims. Live the life of an epic climate sinner while demanding climate righteousness from the masses, all while positioning yourself to scoop up another fortune in taxpayer "investment" dollars in your righteous, but much more expensive, energy that you have influenced politicians, and often unelected and therefore unaccountable commissioners, to force upon us all....except for your beautiful, righteous, ultra-wealthy self, of course.

It definitely will continue sadly, and it is a conflict I've seen play out on countless other social media sites.
Speaking frankly what attracted me to Substack was the possibility of building up a platform surrounding serial fantasy novels, not this stupid clash with the likes of Katz and his cancel-pigs I suspect that they may well win here and not sure what I'd end up doing as there are few alternatives now other than Substack.
Really hope the owners hold the fort and refuse to heed the squealing pigs.
This entire clown show really tickles me to no end. I grew up in the Deep South in the waning days of the Jim Crow apartheid - real American racism was something you saw everywhere all the time. Being a Jewish kid born into this, just watching it fed my desire to get away from it which I did and never went back other to visit. But the funny part is even with some old bigots occasionally talking shit about the blacks or the Kikes or Muslims, Spics, Micks, Wops, Chinks, Wetbacks etc, racist rants just don’t have the bark or the bite they once did. But keeping the coals burning and fanning the flames of hatred keeps the world of Us vs Them still turning round. Any school which teaches Latin is nurturing the future leaders of law and medicine. They teach people to become sneering snobs who say shit like that about the general public and go on to govern with equal disrespect - just as you have shown in your comments here. Don't get me wrong, I had a similar education to you, in British establishments, but had the independence of mind to maintain my friendships with those who suffered the deprivations of standard education.

When my son reached 13 and began to be frustrated by his schooling I took him out of there and home-schooled him myself. His mates would come to our house every night after school and pepper me with questions. Their lively minds were full of desire for learning, but the staff at their school were contemptuous, lazy and inclined to call them disruptive if they asked questions during class.
I educated six boys until they were confident and able to adopt good careers. All of them became great dads and providers.
The school system they had escaped did not teach them anything at all valuable which might have led to them thinking for themselves, but that is the entire intention. We all remained very close until they all went their separate ways after 12 years under my caring wing.
