If only you could write the scripts for soap operas, I might want to actually watch one now and then. Your version is much more entertaining. And funnier. xo

The village chief always seems like a great catch until you realise he is a psychopath controlled by Jewish bankers.

and the Jewish bankers are controlled by whom?

Entities not of this world, one assumes.

I think the controllers are flesh and blood. Please see this, the latest edition of my geo-political analysis,. The first drafts date from early years of this millennium and I update occasionally.

Oo I could have some fun trolling you about the jews.

Seriously though: call the bloodlines what you want, they are all religious occultists, and all are almost certainly summoning and worshipping entities at the highest levels.

That would be a neat trick for a bunch of atheists and nihilists.....

These people aren't atheists or nihilists. They might be evil, but they aren't stupid and understand the spiritual nature of the world we live in.

Excellent: Shakespeare In The Ruins _ would like to add a scene or two on the Village Chief’s Concubines In Action, dancing in native garb with Colorful Revolutions, seducing the erstwhile Band Era’s into promotion of the Jester In Chief till he is in vogue worldwide, except at home, owing to his rape of the Motherland. Tragic Co-“MEDIC!”

Outstanding piece. Must admit my ignorance on the Ukraine-Russia conflict, and your "family" metaphor was a fun way toward understanding the conflict.

If you want to learn something about Putin and Ukraine, read this - https://tec.fsi.stanford.edu/docs/aleksandr-dugins-foundations-geopolitics This, too, while you're at it - http://hurryupharry.net/2014/06/09/alexander-dugin-and-ukraine/

Why do you think that this extremist has any influence on Putin?

Expand full comment

He's pretty much laid out the game plan that Putin is following, down to the rhetoric, if you look at the Dunlop article I cited, written in 2004... quite striking parallels here.

Indeed there are some striking parallels but why is that?

I am aware that academia has been tasked with painting Russia and China as black as it possibly could since the 1980s. My career, in that decade, led me to some very dark corners of the City of London in which I was unhappily witness to the use of propaganda via supposedly reputable sources.

To presume that Putin is under the influence of one extremist fascist is preposterous. I am sure he consults a great many minds within his highly educated milieu.

Further, "The entire gigantic edifice of Atlanticism," Dugin prophesies, "will collapse." - why is that such a bad idea?

Atlanticism started out as a classical liberal project, stressing the primacy of the individual over the State, the primacy of the rights of the individual over the power of the State, and the preservation of free markets and the right to property, free of invasion or control by the State. Since about 1980 or so, when the ex-Trotskyite neoliberals and neoconservatives (they are pretty much interchangeable) took over the Washington-London Axis, these ideals have been systematically betrayed, and the whole system turned on its head, resulting in the anti-classical liberal fascism of the corporatist/WEF Great Reset. Dugin advocates for a similar sort of fascism, only one controlled by Moscow, the foundational ideology is homologous, the axis of control is different, both are collectivist visions which advocate the primacy of the Corporate State (as in the current version of Atlanticism) or that of the Church State (as in Duginism) over the primacy and rights of the individual. Both are fascist and opposed to classical liberalism and its focus on the rights of the individual in their capacity as individuals - and not as representatives of some sort of collective identity. The victory of Duginism over Atlanticism would be just a trade of masters, a neo-Bolshevik master for a neo-Trotskyite master, in both cases classical liberalism would be destroyed, with individual rights buried under State power.

Your first sentence completely baffled me. So I sought some clarification from Wikipedia as follows:

"Atlanticism, also known as Transatlanticism, is the belief in or support for a close relationship between peoples and governments in Northern America (United States, Canada) and those in Europe (countries of the European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Moldova, Norway, Turkey), regarding political, economic, and defence issues. It seeks to maintain the security and prosperity of the participating countries and protect liberal democracy and the values that unite them. The term derives from the Atlantic Ocean that separates North America from Europe.

The term can be used in a more specific way to refer to support for North Atlantic military alliances or in a more expansive way implying broader cooperation, perceived deeply shared values, a merging of diplomatic cultures, and a sense of community and some degree of integration between North America and Europe. In practice, the philosophy of Atlanticism encourages active North American, particularly American, engagement in Europe and close cooperation between states on both sides of the ocean. Atlanticism manifested itself most strongly during the Second World War and in its aftermath, the Cold War, through the establishment of various Euro-Atlantic institutions, most importantly NATO and the Marshall Plan."

I see no mention of the primacy of the individual over the State.

Also, this:

"New York lawyer Paul D. Cravath was a noted leader in establishing Atlanticism in the United States. Cravath had become devoted to international affairs during the war, and was later a co-founder and director of the Council on Foreign Relations."

I am a Brit and well aware that the CFR is on a par with our Chatham House. Neither establishment has ever been remotely interested in the primacy of the individual as they are both the spawn of the Rhodes Round Table which is globalist and totalitarian since the days of the so-called British Empire, which was never actually British.

The Venetians rule and individual rights are reserved for their members, not for the general public who they refer to as useless eaters these days.

I use "Atlanticism" as Dugin has defined it, not as the sources you cite.
