I know people who went. I am catching up with an old friend on the 5th May and I will ask her. Hopefully I remember. My husband and I were at the Melbourne protest Nov 2021, the largest at around 500,000 people. We became very sick, Nik first 24 hours later in bed with fever and migraine.. Then myself, fever, could only make it to the toilet, no migraine. We were very sick, mum came to look after us and the house. Nik sick in bed 18 days, me 14 days, sipped broth and water, only showered twice. The following week, spent under the tree outside recovering with mum feeding us soups etc. Nik lost most of his sense of smell, never returned.
The very first patient I tested for COVID, in early 2020, when we were only supposed to test the deathly ill, was mildly ill, but had just lost her sense of smell for a day, which I knew to be an early sign in the progression of disease.
Her test was positive, and I gave her a bottle of vitamin-D which I had bought a case of, and treated her with early antivirals when her test came in, HCQ, azithromycin and zinc. She did well.

My first patient with COVID almost died from it in Austin, Texas over Thanksgiving of 2019, before it was declared to be a "thing". He was in his late 50s.

The very first patient I tested for COVID, in early 2020, when we were only supposed to test the deathly ill, was mildly ill, but had just lost her sense of smell for a day, which I knew to be an early sign in the progression of disease.
Her test was positive, and I gave her a bottle of vitamin-D which I had bought a case of, and treated her with early antivirals when her test came in, HCQ, azithromycin and zinc. She did well.
I'm not sure if her smell got back to normal. It doesn't in everybody.

My first patient with COVID almost died from it in Austin, Texas over Thanksgiving of 2019, before it was declared to be a "thing". He was in his late 50s.
He had what looked like a bad pneumonia, but it looked viral or atypical, and did not get better on antibiotics, then affected his liver and kidneys.
After 2 weeks on IVs and oxygen, he pulled through and eventually went home.
The only test that ever came back positive from the local teaching hospital was a virus that causes a common-cold, "Coronavirus", it's called...
I was treating patients in a public health clinic at that time, and I saw his hospital discharge reports in early January. I had been monitoring the spread of a novel virus in Wuhan, China in December, and he had a typical course of it, including chest CT and chest x-ray.
It was not supposed to be in Texas yet, but it clearly was...
So I never particularly believed any of the official stories, which were always months behind what I was finding on the internet.
As to the PCR test, it can be set to be so sensitive that it has up to a 50% false positive rate in typical use. It was probably run that way in a lot of US labs, and they did not really want to say how many amplification cycles they were running.
Still, it was the only test initially available, and was useful to confirm a clinical impression.
By fall of 2020 rapid tests were starting to come out, and they were less sensitive, but they had almost no false positives. We switched to them. They are an immunoassay. They are not PCR. If somebody is sick with COVID, and a good swab sample is obtained (painful) they will show positive. A quick positive usually means a higher viral load on the swab.
I was the only treating physician at my public health clinic, which became politically awkward for the clinic. My patients improved on treatment, which was against the government story, as you'll recall.
The Nurses referred people to me.
Hydroxychloroquine became politically unacceptable in summer of 2020, and I was forbidden to prescribe it in late July, even jumping through all of the hoops, like checking an EKG on a COVID patient...
At that time the first Ivermectin study came out of Bangladesh, and I started prescribing it, as well as giving out the bottles of vitamin-D at my expense, and zinc pills, at my expense, because pharmacies were out.
My first 2 ivermectin patients were a husband and wife, he already starting to drop his oxygen saturation. They got better overnight on ivermectin, doxycycline, zinc and vitamin-D.

I am wondering if the people who suffered burns that day are still having health problems like I do. I was horrified that they were burned like that, completely indiscriminately, as if they were doing something harmful. I know how hard it can be when the brain fog kicks in. I have had whole months of being completely unable to write or even talk about anything more complex than a recipe for dinner. We have been assaulted with microwaves. Of that I am certain, but getting this fact through to the general public has been thoroughly thwarted by censorship since 2017.
It doesn't help that I am on a watchlist held by UK GCHQ since 1967 when I was only 15 years old. Those smart-arses showed my husband their collection of photos of me protesting. I too have been 'under watch' for a very long time; Not sure exactly how long but i had to move 'state' here in Oz; Constant harassment and being followed everywhere is one thing but having a pistol put to ones nose while being told "best get out of ..." is something else entirely; I didn't heed that warning fast enough apparently so ended up with 'them' raiding the house and having me taken to a hospital nuthouse under the guise of "being a danger to himself" when i arrived at the hospital handcuffed in the back of a paddy wagon, there were at least 10 coppers waiting for me to arrive...
Only God knows what the coppers told the hospital staff; The back of the paddy wagon was filled with 'pepper spray' before i was dragged out by the feet and carried into the hospital like a captured wild animal... I of course was not happy
I was drugged into oblivion and woke up in a padded cell with a 'restraint jacket' wrapped around the arms and torso; I didn't know where i was when the door opened; A 'doctor' was standing at the door asking who i was and why i was locked in the psych ward; I could not answer his questions beyond "i don't know but i'm here" He asked how i was feeling so i told him "like a prisoner out of the Cuckoo Nest movie that's just had a lobotomy, "can you take this jacket off please?" he asked a few more questions before removing the jacket; He then said "i'll go look into it" before leaving the room and locking the door behind him
He returned a while later asking "are you sure you're ok, not going to hurt anyone or yourself"? so i replied, "i'm fine other than not knowing where i am or who i am, "i just want out of here"... He informed me that he could find no record of me being in the hospital as he led me to a staff exit to the carpark before stating " walk away as quick as you can and don't look back"
I left the 'state' about 2 weeks later.
A similar event occurred to one of my closest friends. They shaved her head claiming she had lice. They drugged her so heavily that she was barely able to remain conscious long enough to phone me and give me a location to pick her up. She had been missing for several weeks and looked as if she had been wearing the same unwashed clothes for all that time. I transported her to my home where she ate and bathed. I gave her some clean clothes to wear. She found out that her children had been removed from their carer and rehomed with their father. Her landlord had emptied her home and changed the locks.
Three days later she was found under a privet hedge, frozen with an empty bottle of rum at her side. They said it was suicide. I knew it was murder.

Yeah, i did something to deserve it alright... made one too-many complaints about the 'police' failing to act on crimes committed against me only to end up with criminal charges thyself; Coppers love the old "assault police" and "resist arrest" chestnut to escape accountability; I'm no angel and i detest 'authority' but on my Grandfathers grave, i have never struck out at a copper in my entire life; Can't say the same about them attacking me though, all because i tell them what for in no uncertain terms
Even woke up in a police shop cage one day with a pool of congealed blood slapping me in the face as i sat up from unconsciousness after being arrested for 'offensive language' when i said a naughty word to one of them who was manhandling a mate of mine who was drunk... Had no idea that I was locked up so they must have knocked me out at the scene; I took myself to hospital when they let me out the next day with a throbbing headache and a gash in the noggin that required 7 stitches; Made a complaint about that too; "no wrong doing" was the answer (nothing unusual about that response) after i was found 'guilty' of swearing in public... ended up with 'contempt of court' charge after asking the 'magistrate' "did you even listen to anything i and my witness said about the cops behaviour that night?"..."i guess birds of a feather do all stick together" $500 'fine' for daring to question 'magistrate' and that was in the late 80's where i was earning $187 as an apprentice mechanic; My share of rent was $80 let alone buy food and get myself to work...
A few months later I found out, after speaking with a 'highway patrol' cop about being sent a load of 'fines' for a car that i have never owned or ever used, that i was 'flagged' by 'state' police with a warning, "approach with caution, may assault police" which goes a long way to explaining why the coppers had it in for me and why they bashed first and asked questions later (if at all)
There's lots of factual stories i could add about 'state' police and what i have witnessed them doing first hand, and none of it is any good; Suffice to state, there are many criminals wearing uniforms

I don't know anyone personally who was affected, so unsure as to any ongoing issues. Non lethal does not mean non dangerous. They have no idea what they are really doing, as long as it 'controls'. Vaccines are also classed as 'safe and effective'. I'm sorry for your horrible ongoing experience.
