Agreed. Life on earth is unlikely to end until earth itself is swallowed by the sun. But humans society as we know it will not exist in 10 years. Arguably it won't exist in one, depending on how you define "as we know it." I mean my personal world is fundamentally different from just 1.5 years ago.

I do know that very simple rules will lead to this type of thing. For instance robots given simple rules about moving towards light will start lying to each other as they evolve.
