Yeah... that episode was grim. Super grim. I couldn't think at all for ages. I was very lucky to have such good friends as Elaine and the boys helping me through it. Thanks for reading Sue! xx
Grim, super grim indeed, Frances. I had glandular fever (following gatling gun like shocks) in the mid 90s. I remember sleeping for what seemed forever. But I did not have a Dan to care for, or a Tony, so was lucky. If I did, having an Elaine and the boys would have meant the world. As for reading, it is my pleasure! xx
Yeah it's truly is my kinda read and I've still got 17 through to 41 in my S.I.M.L file to read and enjoy at my leisure, reckon it would make great British movie/TV. series in the feel of the TV play Edna the Inebriate Woman (https://youtu.be/pc5vCZTkY7g), which left it's mark on me at the time for being so honest and brutal but a sign of the times and so much what I lived and breathed in my reality as a young man , also watching it again I'm instantly transported back there and this is exactly what I recognise and get with the fantastic S.I.M.L series, I like a bit of Tragedy & Hope along with a little strength and determination because it will make you stronger and keep you alive and I believe this why they want us in 15 min city's giving you everything at you convenience because you will lose the reason for living and procreating , have a watch, https://dailysceptic.org/2023/07/11/the-mice-that-gave-up-reproducing-and-died-out/ they know what their doing and combined with what really is going on regarding the so called population explosion, I'll say this if the governments/elitist Malthusian/monarchy/Evil entity types says something like that just reverse it for the real truth of what's really going on , what kind of human thinks things like "there's to many people here" ?? the prince that was ponce Philip that's who “In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, to contribute something to solving overpopulation,” that's nuts just like he was and they are.
My Pleasure, it's good to share what puts things in to perspective with what's going on in this experience but you know this more than most and that's why you and others share so much and remember we are all so grateful and better informed for your dedicated research and life long work of keeping us up to speed, the great and the good walks with all of you .Respect & X 2 All
You are not wrong about the death of music.... I am sure it still survives in people's own homes but the junk we see/hear being promoted by media is deliberately irritating. Mind you, my grandparents used to call our music 'jangly' to their ears, so the generation gap continues, I presume! xx
The music execs were not obligated to produce rap music. They chose to do it. Squealing 'men in black' anecdotes with zero proof sounds like another Tavistock ruse, claiming power after the fact. I don't doubt that some young people were influenced to become criminals but the chances are that other social pressures, like drugs, poverty and unemployment played a far bigger role.
I found out about myself in that period of my life. It was valuable to me and gave me the confidence to follow my dreams and grab all opportunities, even if they did not appear to be especially important. Invariably every opportunity led to more amazing experiences and some incredible adventures. If I had never been challenged when I was young, I may not have valued the chances I later got to take on some big issues head on, without fear of failure.

havnt heard Dont fear the reaper since i was a kid, great tune
Rumours is in my all time top 3 albums along with Momentary lapse of reason by Pink Floyd and Enigma Cross of changes. 70s/80s/90s then the music died

ive met quite a few at work in their 20s that say 'you guys had much better music', they can hear me arriving on site :D
Really? That is amazing! All is not lost, Ray! 🙂
I've seen that alot from the young ones online. Well, it's the truth!

wow
Nope. Nothing beats the original. I rarely like covers though. Exceptions do occur.... like this one by Disturbed:
https://youtu.be/u9Dg-g7t2l4
it is unusual to find a version better than the original, exceptions like all along the watchtower by hendrix i would argue was better than bobs'
and i like this: https://youtu.be/pBW--bgyezg
shes good, if you like weird covers this guy does great heavy metal covers, some are brilliantly funny/good https://youtu.be/x0RV0kgdqJU
His thunderstruck is awesome!
https://youtu.be/S7rRA-V-0zY
But I like this one too!
https://youtu.be/uT3SBzmDxGk
both great versions
