This EVIL must stop. I feel that since the US is behind MUCH of the horror of this planet, that we Americans have a duty to stop our govt being used and our military being used, and our MEDIA being used, to propagate this vile and vicious behavior all over the ME and elsewhere.
I never viewed Assad as a tyrant, especially whenever the media screamed it at me.
Looking back, that was when I should have fully realised that the Western media was all propaganda and lies.
It does appear that I was starting to become immune to them though.
One journalist (amazingly, from the left leaning Independent), cast doubt on the Syria gas attack story and was instantly dismissed, ringing more alarm bells that I should have been listening to.
It's only since early 2020, that I've realised just how corrosive the evil and corruption in our media has become and only since Feb 2022 that I've understood how deceitful, our own "trusted" leaders really are.
9/11/2001 was the final straw on my respect for the media. I have been an anti-war activist since I was 15 in 1967. Vietnam completely disgusted me and back then some media was acknowledging our efforts to protest about it. Nowadays even a million marching in London gets ignored.
Modern media is alien to real journalism. They are nothing but shameless repeaters of alphabetti narratives and I view them all with as much credibility as a Marvel comic.

In the case of Janice Kortkamp I first noticed her when certain well known talking heads on Twitter attacked her and accused her of being paid by Bashir Assad. I went to find her work and was impressed by the innocent way she approached the Syrian conflict. She gave a refreshing humanitarian account of her on-the-ground perspective.
Some supposed "truthers" were criticising her in truly vitriolic style and all they achieved was raising my doubts about THEM. I said so and was immediately subjected to the same bitchcrafty derision and blocking! These twisted sisters are still very famous.... I still do not trust them!

Truthiness! US media's coffin was nailed shut in the 80's. And it's been down a shit hill since then...
