Thank you for the dreamy and thoughtfully relaxing mood induced by your writing. And thanks for sharing with us your superb skills of description in your beautiful and polished writing.
Dogs and Cats are wonderful companions they witness things that we cannot. They can also teach us lessons about ourselves that we never knew. I was blessed to have a cat Fluff live to 27 and we have a Black Lab Toby living with us at 19 and a half years old. He is a fighter. True earth dragons both Dogs and Cats.
I am into Substack because of the vaccine adverse effect reports and stories that the mainstream media are not covering. It's just so nice and refreshing to have read this.
However, recently I have taken a lot of time off from the serious stuff and explored my imagination and memory. I have been writing 2 books simultaneously. One is an autobiography which will probably draw on this story about my departed furry friends eventually, but not for some time yet. The autobiography is published every Sunday morning under the title Sunday In Memory Lane and I have reached Episode 14, but am only just finishing 1976 chronologically. It may turn out to be an epic work!
The other is a fictional story about a young social influencer woman called Lymp Duhdashian who gets initiated into conspiracy facts and concern for the world by an older more experienced man. I manage to slip some pretty outrageous reality checks into that, so watch out for it. I am now preparing Episode 18, hoping to publish it tomorrow.
Frances, your heart is always so present in everything you write. Especially your stories about your animals. I savored this one. I miss having a dog so much. Thx for sharing. xo
What a lovely read and as always lifts my mood. Thank you. Respect & X 2 All

You must be doing something special to make your animals live so long! What do you think is the secret?
so sorry for the loss of your beautiful furry friends 😿
Are they lost though? Someone profoundly spiritual once said that we are still alive as long as someone remembers us.... who was that?
Upon searching, I find that the sentiment has been claimed by very many! https://duckduckgo.com/?q=we+are+still+alive+as+long+as+someone+remembers+us&atb=v339-1&ia=web
💝can still feel my loved ones around me every day💝
❤️❤️❤️ Thank you.

What an incredible journey. No, they sure don’t live long enough. Thanks for the moving essay.
