We are actively looking to move out of our already busy village because we are being surrounded by new builds and the green belt is no longer there, remote and away from the crazy's is definitely the place to be to keep your sanity, even the people we thought were ok have turned out to be idiots, we are even considering a plot with services and living in a caravan as owning a house is like advertising to the Scottish (tyrannical) Government to come and interfere anything they bloody well choose and we are not soaking our house in WIFI or smart meters because they decide to under the guise of safety, which is complete utter B.S.. Simply put they don't and never have cared about anyone. Respect & X 2 All

I got totally jaded off of living in UK in 2003. I sold up everything I could, bought a hi-top LDV van with a Peugeot engine, piled my two dogs and a cat into it and took off..... that was the best shot at freedom I have ever achieved in my life. I recommend it. I wrote about it here:

This sounds lovely, I went to a 5 day silent retreat in Yorkshire recently it was lovely, though I admit it was nice being with people just not having to talk to them. I didn't miss screens or my phone at all.

Ooh that looks amazing! What a brilliantly original holiday.... I believe there is a place like that near me, here in Dorset where people go for spa days or weeks. I keep telling my son we should go on a holiday but he says "My life is a holiday here!" - he really loves being at home...... thinking about it..... yeah, he has always been a weirdo! 🤣😂

That's so funny!! From what I am reading about your life, you seem to be very different; having lots of adventures and experiences!

I live with my mum, though I've had my own flat then a house with my ex.

It's pretty cushy and lovely living here, I do like it.

When I was young, I wanted to have lots of kids but it did not happen that way for me, so I totally doted on my only child. Everyone used to say I spoiled him rotten. Not materialistically, you understand, I never had much money so that was impossible. I just used to focus on giving him an interesting and educational home life. He was super easy to love. Always very funny and far cleverer than me. Still is.... We are happy and always laughing about stuff. When I started to lose my health he moved in with me as a full time carer and, at first, I didn't want him to do that. I mean, I wanted him to be free, see the world and all that.

He won't hear of it.

Last week, I overheard him explaining to a work colleague, during a zoom meeting with his team in America: "No, I won't be moving to Texas. I look after my Mum because she looked after me." Then he told them about his childhood and how hard I had worked etc etc.... I had to slide off to the bathroom and dry my tears. I didn't know that he felt like that about me. It explains a lot.

Reuters..... major propaganda punters. The worst in fact. The Russians have been trying to protect the power plant against the Ukrainians who have been shelling it from time to time. The only reason the Russians are even in that area is to protect the nuclear reactors. Their objectives in this war have been achieved i.e., to defend the 4 Russian speaking regions which have now become part of Russia.

Potassium Iodine will only protect the thyroid..... the rest of the body is likely to be irradiated in the event of a radioactivity event.

Geez! What an awfully badly created article! You see why I do not watch or read MSM! Fearmongering and fake news from the first words! lmfao!

The reporting of that military intervention has been appalling so I don't want to read any of it.... they call it a war. It is a rescue mission.
