To be honest, I didn't find these to be too offensive. What I did find was that the first one was just straight up sick. I don't mind humor but anyone that would make a meme about beating the fuck out of someone is not being humourous. I don't condone transexuality and that's not the point here. It is the condoning of violence, which makes a person no different than the average thug on the streets. A little disappointed in that one and I'm sure some of the memes that I have posted have been offensive to some as well, but I have never glorified war, violence, etc..... 👎 on that meme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am sure that the creator of that meme intended to offend.... that was the entire point of it. The offensiveness of it was evidently successful if your comment is anything to go by.
Generally, in my long experience of life, I have noticed that those who talk about violence seldom use it. It is those who say nothing that need to be watched.
No doubt the person was being offensive. I'm not disputing that fact. You can be offensive without being sadistic, however. Does one loose their sense of certain morals for the sake of trying to offend someone. If that is the case then we slowly go down the path of moral decline, as if this country hasn't already done so. I guess where one person draws a line, another doesn't care and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It's a slippery slope.
However, you are correct, the person's meme did offend me and basically for the reason I originally stated. Beating the fuck out of someone because of their looks or beliefs is still not something to joke about. Kind of like making fun of a certain ethnic group during WW2 and the fact that someone didn't like them, or making funof a certain person because of their skin color in the 50s and 60s who was beaten, hung or killed because someone didn't like them.
The reason for beating the fuck out of these cross-dressing story tellers is not because someone doesn't like them.... far from it. It is happening (here in the UK) because parents don't want pedos with sexually confusing messages getting anywhere near enough to influence their kids!
When I was four years old my dad battered a neighbour down two flights of stairs for showing me a pack of cards with images of naked women on them. Dads don't take kindly to people messing with their kids.
I agree, guess I wasn't realizing this meme was about a trans story hour. I took it as someone just being in the library reading and not a pedo influencing young children. I am in complete agreement on being against the trans story hours at schools or where ever, I think it was the library reference that threw me off . My mistake!!
