Wow. I thought only sunscreen was good enough to protect myself but I sure am wrong after seeing Kieth's Substack. Thank you for sharing and the introduction to some great reads :)

I have spent my life outside in hot weather, working in the sun whenever I could. I only use olive oil mixed with some essential oils and have never used sunscreen. I did not want protection from the sun - I wanted to maximise it!

Now this is something new! Not sure about the olive oil part, but I don’t mind using essential oils. Maybe I’ll start doing this to. I still remember when there was this craze for sunscreen and “avoiding the sun at all costs” for fellows with acne (which I had plentiful of). Ended up having a vitamin D deficiency, never avoiding the sun again.

Essential oils are far too strong and expensive to use on their own. You must dilute them with a carrier oil like almond oil or olive oil. I would not recommend any others.

When put in this way I guess theres no other way around it. On second thoughts I like this solution. I'll give it a try and see how it goes.

I make a special personal formula for myself:

Olive oil as the carrier with 10ml each of Neroli, Cedar and Citronella. This serves to smell very alluring, keep my skin safe and ward off insects. When I had a fruit farm in central Spain, I used it to keep the flies off my horse's face too. For men I make a formula replacing the Neroli with Musk.

Ah, but….. your few words may be more golden than mine! It is not about quantity, is it? It is quality we need!

I am a man who uses few. Confounds some, but they're challenged anyway.

And I discovered 2X speed this last year when listening to podcasts. Works mostly, except with some mumbling Australians or cheeky British. 😉😉 Makes my wife crazy if she overhears. And I can speed read or partially tune in and still get it.

We can't all be Laurel Airica. She LOVES this bastardized language.

Her interviews, at least the first one, with Aubrey Marcus were really good. They played well together. Only seen the first one...

His poetry inspired by her was excellent at the time. She's very crafty and clever with words.

🤢. Sorry. I threw up in my mouth a little.

Somebody (lots of them actually) needs to limit their screen time.

I just saw one recap in which the account holder had a word count of 17 million words read! How is that even possible in three months?

Now I'm about to throw up for different reasons. Long form four hours on 1.5X being JUST one.

I'm seriously throwing up all over the place...

And it's turned into people just commenting on other people's presentations. Hall of Mirrors.

I still prefer BOOKS when I read!

What do y'all find SO INTERESTING on the WWW? I really can't find too much to broaden any horizons. Most of it attempts to shrink them.

Blah.

Going to be interesting as more normies experience shock and dismay at giving their power away to externals. Things I've "gnown" my entire WOO life.

I love books, too! Forever!

I do love some of the Stacks, but I can't read for hours on a screen like I can a book. So... less of one, more of the other, but not strictly only one?

Cheers.

Rodents love books so much, they eat them and make nests with them, if you put a book in a drawer. Ask how I know, jajaja.

You should note that Substack is only listing the statistics for their own platform. They are not counting the stats from other websites or social media platforms. They also cannot count YouTube, Bitchute, Odysee and Rumble views. Nor can they see how much offline reading we do.

I collect pdfs like a little squirrel…. and I spend more time reading them than anything else. I also have actual books piled up in my bookcase waiting for my attention.

In short, Starmonkey, you cannot judge people by their Substack statistics alone.

I do appreciate Substack, for what it is. Only social media for me, besides some YouTube comments, and somewhat limited.

Although I will follow Clif High wherever he appears...

Substack provided me with all the statistics and even prepared this post. All I did was share it. I believe it is one of the perks we gain when we get an orange tick (more than 100 paying subscribers) but I am not sure.
