My sons end of junior school celebration/family and school party was cancelled yesterday. It was due to start at 5pm. The head teacher, who I actually really like, it must be a very tough job in these circumstances, was reacting to the hugely overblown warning from the government. It pretty much tied his hands. Compartmental authority will do us in. I respectfully let him no me feelings on the decision. And in the end it called to about 25 degrees by 1730. All cancelled for nothing
