I am in the same boat with my neighbours but they are all ages! They get their opinions from the tell-lie-vision and are dumb-struck when I tell them that I do not have a TV nor do I read the Brit press. When I announce that I spend my time researching and writing geo-political articles they seem completely confused and some laugh at me as if they think I am crazy.
I am a very fierce person in real life, so they do not dare to argue with me but undoubtedly they gossip behind my back. This has been the case all my life and I won't change my behaviour or attitude to suit them. I value my fierceness. It keeps fools at bay! lol
