As I keep foerever telling my kids Bonnie, it doesnt matter how hard you try, you will not change other people's behavour, but you hold all the cards by being able to change yours. Those at the top will NEVER change, but if we can empower enough of us at the bottom then we stand a chance of steering this ship around. Unfortunately, as much as i would like to be positive, i dont see enough waking quickly enough. They might wake one day, but the longer it is left, the bigger the fallout will be.

Like a lot of things in life, the longer one waits to act the more difficult it is. Whether to break off with a lover, change banks, try a different coffee! Too much navel-gazing results in more hesitation until the next issue becomes our focus.
By then, it becomes 'too late' and the damage is done.
I have only recently watched 2 super-courageous young men draw down the dimwitted NY CONgresswoman Alexandra Ocasio Cortez (better known in the US as AOC) - the darling of the woke left. And they didn't back down.
My point there is - some of us older 'war horses' are exhausted having seemingly failed at our task as elders- to educate and inform.
