1. I've only heard of LaRouche, but now I will read him, seems important.

2. I'm neutral but horrified about all this Ukraine stuff, but, as in other areas of the world, this illustrates that having a different ethnic/cultural/language population in border areas or anywhere really, is inherently unstable, as in Chekhov's statement about theatre, if there's a gun in the first act, it should be fired by the third act. Let Mexicans, Albanians etc. into your border areas, lose that territory eventually, even if you happen to know and like Mexicans and Albanians, as I do, nothing personal.

3. The Russian position and leadership are obviously more articulate and reasonable than the west, but that doesn't mean they're friendlies. Putin is smarter than Biden, that doesn't make him a good person. And no matter how much land Russia has, that doesn't mean they don't want more, ditto China. IMO, and this is their history too, both Russia and China very much want land and other things that belong to other people.

Borders drawn along ethnic/cultural/language lines are natural borders and work well enough. It's when the greedy psychopaths at the top of pyramids decide to interfere with natural borders and take a piece, or all, of someone else's territory that problems arise. In other words, self-determination should be sacrosanct, inviolable. Unfortunately, the top of the pyramid does not like being dictated to by the bottom of the pyramid. Tough!

In July 2010, the International Court of Justice issued an “Advisory Opinion” on Kosovo (previously part of Serbia) in which it determined a few important points of international law, including that people’s right to self-determination supersedes territorial integrity.

The contrast between Russia and US/NATO ("The Empire of Lies and Hypocrisy") is not about smarts. It's about honesty and integrity. I wouldn't particularly want to invite Putin to my dinner table; but I do believe that his administration has behaved, and continues to behave, with honesty and integrity. If I made an agreement with Putin, I believe he would stick to it. Not so with US/NATO; and Putin himself has stated publicly that his assessment of US/NATO is that they are "not agreement capable." Putin has learned this from bitter experience over the last twenty years. In the circumstances, I believe he has shown remarkable restraint.

There is zero evidence that Russia and China want anyone else's land. They have never taken anyone else's land before so why would they suddenly start now?

Also, Russian speaking people have always lived in Ukraine. The border does not act like a language barrier there. Russian and Ukraine were both USSR members and so people crossed borders unimpeded until 1992. The problems began in 2014 when the Ukraine government created a law to force Russian speakers to speak Ukrainian and then attacked the regions where that law was being flouted. The Ukrainian forces have been bombing Donbass and Luhansk ever since, devastating the cities and driving the Russian speakers out, over the border to Russia.

The intensity of the bombing was increased on 17th February, forcing Putin's hand - he HAD to defend the Donbass and Luhansk or sit back and let them be slaughtered in their beds.

The special military operation has been very carefully controlled to limit the loss of civilian infrastructure and lives.

The objectives were to protect the Russian speakers; to close down the US funded biolabs and to remove Nazi battalions like Azov from access to their proposed victims.

These objectives have now been achieved and so the next step is to provide the Russian speakers the opportunity to vote in a referendum about joining Russia, in much the same way as Crimea. Once that is achieved Russia will have clearly defined borders and will defend them robustly.

If the USA/UK/NATO warmongers wish to continue to antagonise and victimise the Russian residents of Ukraine they are, effectively, declaring war on Russia thereafter.

This is the only possible resolution as NATO has advised Zelenskyy not to negotiate and to insist that all of Ukraine remains Ukraine.

NATO has instigated this war and lied via the media to the western public.

I spent a month in Kyiv in 2019, and I can agree that at that time and place, at least in the tourist areas, Kyiv was quite cosmopolitan, with Russian and Ukrainian speakers getting along, as far as I could tell. As long as life is peaceful, most people won't make a fuss about cultural differences. But is always has potential to be exploited by people in power.

China most definitely has designs on the whole world. They are buying politicians and important infrastructure everywhere. We can agree to disagree about that, no problem. I found your article very educational, esp. re LaRouche, but you can't blame me for having a different interpretation about some things. BTW, I've been living in Tijuana for a few months, love it here, and I see what goes on at the Wall every day. I like my Mexican neighbors, but I'm sorry, even nice people can show a lack of respect for borders if they're allowed to. I've also lived in Albania, same thing. Russia has done a lot to subvert American political life, ditto China.

Russia and China are ACCUSED of subverting American political life..... according to the Black Nobility owned media. Do you REALLY believe all that?

Most of the manipulation of USA comes directly from RIIA at Chatham House, City of London, UK.

I'm totally neutral in this for 2 reasons, 1 a foreigner who doesn't live there has no idea what's really happening. For all I know, the scenes of horror on both sides could have been made in Hollywood, for the benefit of grifters on both sides who could even be colluding. Not saying that's the case, but given what we've learned about recent events being exploited for political reasons, I have to hold my fire about everything I haven't witnessed in person. 2, witnesses can be sincere and accurate, that doesn't mean there isn't something else in play. I think being agnostic about these things can be a good position.

We have all been propagandized since we were born. The American Revolution may not have really been what we were taught. I admire the Founders, but is that justified? It's more accurate to say, I admire what I was taught about them. If I could travel in time, would I join the revolution or sit it out like the majority? Maybe the 95% of people who didn't join knew something we didn't learn in school. I can well believe that Russia was raped, I can also believe Ukraine was raped. I know the American taxpayer is being raped by the grifters in Ukraine. Is Putin getting a cut for playing a role? IDK but I don't rule it out. I won't take sides, I just want it to stop.

Ukraine DID belong to Russia historically!

Expand full comment

True, but the people wanted independence. When I was there, I lived in the Shevchenko quarter, everything was named after this guy, statues everywhere. So I looked him up, that's how I learned that Ukrainians had an ethnonationalist movement that predated the current mess. Shevchenko himself was abused by the Tsar's government because of his nationalism, even the Ukrainian language was suppressed. BTW, the USA used to belong to England, i.e. if the people think they're something other than the nation that owns them, they can change that, and that's how it is in many parts of Ukraine, so Ukraine is facts on the ground, or else Charles III is our king.

"the people wanted independence", 2014 was US-UK color revolution! Get your facts straight. We've discussed this previously so its obvious you have been brainwashed and keep your mind locked in a BOX. Ditto you've replied 2 or 3 times to France 'that' you'll read about LaRouche

Nor mine and I live in England! 🤣😂 But what we think is utterly irrelevant to the Black Nobility! They don't want us around; we are useless eaters, according to them. King Charles aided Klaus Schwab in writing his most recent book, Covid 19: The Great Reset. He even introduced it to the WEF meeting in 2021 during his keynote speech there.

The Guelph aka the Saxe-Coburg and Gotha aka the Windsors really do rule the world and own a huge chunk of it. There is no escaping that reality.
