How about this? Two years ago one of my daughters was being awarded her degree and the Dean of the school she was graduating from stood there behind her lecturn and started the proceedings by telling everyone in the hall, 3000+, that now their education was over they were well equipped to step out into the world. Now my education didn't start until I left the university, something, I suspect I had in common with every other graduate present, and yet no one saw fit to stop the proceedings and point this simple fact out to her.
Now was she telling a lie? No, of course not, she was simply totally unaware of how a university education has become virtually valueless in just a few decades and had absolutely no idea just how out of touch she was.
Did someone mention the death of institutions?
I've always had a very wide social circle and know a High Court Judge who is in no doubt that our criminal justice system is on the ropes and is about to go down for the count. Another very important institution.
From where I'm sitting the total chaos that is about to unfold has been completely engineered and by the end of it we will all be begging for total WEF control of every aspect of our little lives. Hegelian dielectric stuff.
To resist demoralization and the decline of trust in truth, it is essential to be trained in psychology and sociology. These disciplines allow us to understand the mechanisms of influence, manipulation, and disinformation. They are best complemented by the study of logic, epistemology, and history in order to develop a strong critical mind.
Curiosity is also essential. It encourages us to ask questions, to compare viewpoints, to check sources, and to be willing to revise our convictions when the facts justify it.
These skills are not always taught explicitly or in depth at school. They are often acquired through a personal approach of reading, discussion, observation and reflection throughout life.
Ironically, I find the complaint within this piece that "we have lost faith in our institutions" itself demoralizing: those institutions have revealed themselves to be eminently worthy of distrust, since they are about control not truth.
So no, I won't be automatically trusting any media. While the piece refers to "cynicism" and "defense mechanisms" I find this mindset of critical thinking to be liberating, not demoralizing.
Seams important to me to constantly remember that we all come from completely different worlds.
The world I am happiest in is the world of structural engineering, very, very, challenging, complex , beautiful , elegant. I obviously didn't believe a word of the story we all told about the events of the ninth of September 2001. Even as that first plane disappeared into the north tower , I was thinking surely no one's going to believe this nonsense. But I was stumped as to just where the towers ended up 'cos it looked to me as though they turned to dust and blew away across the Hudson into NJ.
It wasn't till Dr Judy Wood published her book explaining the mechanism that dustified the towers that all my questions were answered. If you have been blessed with a naturally inquiring mind, then all you can do is trust it.
So it looked like the towers blew away. It looks like on both sides of the Atlantic we live in corporatocracies. And it looks like the British State is about to completely disappear.
Just trust that virtually everyone has an agenda and be very on your guard around religious groups such as the environmentalists.
Clarity, focus, find our way through the fog and frozen mindframes. It is not the first time I feel the simple way to tell what’s right or wrong is lost. Maybe we need to go back to basics and simplify things to cut through the bullshit.
Thank you again Frances for highlighting such relevant information for our ‘gps-less’ world. We are lost and I so hope we find the new us, because change is inevitable.
I also understand that how or where we gather info is not relevant as long as we can figure the point of it.
Very much describes how I feel although what bothers me more than not knowing the truth about many things - that is to a degree what we can only expect of life - is where I feel very certain of what's true but cannot persuade others of my - to me - very clear reasoning.
That's because you've been red-pilled, and the others are mind-controlled. All you can do is pray that they, too, will be red-pilled, and the sooner the better, no matter how agonizing the process is for them.
If that were the only issue it wouldn't be so bad but as you've probably noticed there is a lot of disagreement among the red-pilled too - some of it engineered by the propagandists devoted to divide and conquer but that can't be blamed for all of it.
Thank you Frances
How to tell the truth from the lies?
While you're trying to solve this one Frances, here is a little something to keep you relaxed and chilled. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSEH7W2Uybc
Keep well in yourself
And let us not forget who the KGB really was…
Porky Pies?

Dialectic, but you all knew what I meant.

Bookmarked for reading later. Truth Decay - sheer brilliance.

Talks about totalitarianism and then promotes Grokipedia 🤦
Promotes? Recognising the value of a single page is promotion? You are a demoralist.
If mentioned in an article that is seen publicly by many it automatically constitutes a promotion Frances. Pretty straightforward really.
I see. Your personal judgement has to be taken universally, does it HAL?
That thinking is totalitarian and superior. Indefensible nonsense.
But surely the truth is whatever Jacinda Ardern tells us!
Is that the bitch with the teeth? You could land a plane on those chompers.
Excellent !

And the tactics used to divide and conquer are a tad demoralizing too which seems to be part of the game
