The debt crisis is real but it could be "solved" if TPTB forgave some of the debt. (They are supposedy worth hundreds of trillions of dollars so they could afford it.) The real problem is they decided they don't need us anymore because of AI and automation and the high expense of our care (pensions and social entitlement programs).

Mate, remind me again what TPTB is.

Sorry and thank you.

There is no question of 'if the economy is a sinking ship'. It is simply a mathematical fact: the economy has already been sunk by psycho's and their politician puppets and we will now all see and face that reality right in-front of our very eyes. So, well done all the morons that bought the 'covid pandemic' BS and sat in their houses and complied for no good reason; EVERYTHING IS INTER-CONNECTED and where we are now, is a direct result of the compliance to transparent BS trigger by 2+ years ago. Unless MILLIONS of zombies wake-up, we're all fucked; simple. And yet still, millions refuse to believe the truth right in-front of our eyes.

Good to hear your view. ALL of it (pandemic BS, global warming/fossil fuel climate change BS, financial ruin, economic destruction) is part of an ORCHESTRATED/COLLECTIVE PLAN. Destroy the status-quo; then impose the 'new normal/abnormal' onto the global population. If MILLIONS stood strong and said, NO and DID NOT collaborate; NONE of it would be possible. Politicians would completely SHIT themselves if even two thirds of the population stood together and said no. Then where the true power lies would be obvious; with the collective. Lets hope it happens soon.

Better keep your money in something else then fiat currency, because they're ALL going down in the end. One is just sooner then the other one.

Yep... I am investing in batteries, candles, lighters and cans of food as currency. My storage cupboards are rammed with all the basic dried food items plus I have a portaloo, a butane cooker and fridge. We have tents, blow up mattresses and waterproof ex army sleeping bags (anyway) because we love to camp. I have an electrosmog detector and ordnance survey maps.

Very wise. I'm some way behind you but power banks, candles, non perishable food, and olden days tech like hot water bottles. If gas and leccy fail, a spirit burner and kettle-with-a-whistle can fill the latter. Retiring at the end of the year so I'm hoping to get through the next 3-4 months then use a lump sum to clear debts and provide a bit of a buffer. The monthly pension will be about enough to cover the basics once I'm not paying off debt. Unfortunately only banks/governments can service debt with more debt. It ain't much of a plan but enough to get started.

If we still have a pension, Karen! There could be changes ahead!

Indeed. I'm not due state pension for several more years and a lot could happen. But occupational pension ought to be ok for a bit....

I always thought that if there is no power for a while or permanently then all bank balances would be wiped out.

Am I being thick or does anyone else think that would happen?

Dizzy Lizzy was selected, groomed and shoed in.... the old codgers in the Tory party, with their room temperature, half cut IQs aren't bright enough to see how they have been herded along to the slaughter. The Black Nobility rule this country, not the politicians. All our MPs are compromised and perform like seals, clapping when told to. That plonker Bailey is another appointee with a frontal lobotomy - he doesn't make any decisions! That job falls to the owners of the Bank of England and we should know who they are..... but we don't. This tells me that the Bank of England is owned by the same mobsters as Lloyds of London and the Crown Corporation!
