I stumbled into it in the strangest way quite a few years ago.
I was studying civil engineering at the time and did an assignment on the history of seismic engineering.
I began looking at Roman architecture but I kept seeing links to the polygonal masonry found in Peru (Sacsayhuaman) and eventually investigated that subject further.
Polygonal or cyclopean masonry is pretty phenomenal. The way the blocks fit together to give a wall flexibility yet still be strong. And also the way each block is different size and shape means no two blocks share the same harmonic resonance (frequency they vibrate at) offers huge benefits.
But it is seemingly impossible to build and engineer by todays standards.
And if it was only found in Peru/Bolivia it might be less interesting but it is not.
It was aliens that helped us. Like when they built the great pyramids. Building those today would nearly impossible. So we got a little help from our friends!
I’ve been a huge advocate of history revisionism. The reasons being is the victor always writes the story, which may or may not be the whole story. Also by not knowing the whole story, then we are bound to repeat that same story.
The story right now that can’t be re-examined is the Holocaust. In parts of Europe if you even suggest a different narrative then the “official” one, you could serve time in prison. So what makes that incident untouchable? There’s another story that’s not being told.
Here’s an example of looking at what really happened at the start of WWII. What I find fascinating is how Hitler has been the bad guy this whole time, just like Putin’s been made the bad guy. Funny how life keeps repeating itself.
